Dialogues: Legal and Ethical

We believe a just world is one in which access to world-leading research and practice is free for all. Thus, our articles are published under diamond open access – there is no charge to authors, their institutions, or readers. Thanks to generous funding from the Alfred Landecker Foundation, we provide financial Honoria to our editorial board, dialogue editors and contributors for their labour.

Digital Memory Dialogues makes no income from the content and activities presented on this site. Our work is for the public good.

Contributors to Digital Memory Dialogues are asked to confirm in writing, by email, that they own the copyright for or can produce evidence of permission to publish any images featured in their contribution. Otherwise, content they share under scope of Fair Use must be substantially analysed in the copy of their text. Thus, all content published here is done so under good faith that appropriate rights have been given. If you feel a contributor has disingenuously reused your content without permission, please contact us and we will remove it immediately. Legal disputes over this reuse should be directed to the contributor as per the byline of the piece.

The copyright of each publication sits with the author(s) of that piece. Contributors are free to recirculate, reuse and republish this work wherever they wish.
